Ever wanted to learn how to temper and make chocolate like the professionals?
About this Event

Work with raw organic ingredients to make your own delicious chocolates in this class led by Emily, founder of Brighton chocolate micro-producer Cocoa Crystal, using only ingredients free of animal products, gluten and palm oil.

Use traditional solid marble slabs, industry quality equipment and more facts than you can shake a thermometer at! Ask your chocolatier anything you like about chocolate making – you’ll be amazed at what you might learn in these fun-filled, action-packed, 5*-rated experiences.

Whether you’ve been baking for years, got all the gear but no idea or never even touched a bain marie before... don’t worry. Every workshop is tailored perfectly so you’ll get the information and practice you need to start at home in the fine art of chocolate tempering to perfection.

Start with single origin Peruvian chocolate ingredients, mix, measure and tend to your batch. Have fun using splashes of colour and decorating techniques, make a mess with handmade liquid 70% chocolate, flavour with oils and inclusions and twist and flip for the moment of truth.

This is a fun and indulgent workshop that nevertheless has ethics at its core – a chocolate class you can feel truly good about enjoying. You will work in pairs to temper your chocolate but everyone will go home with their own chocolate creations.

What previous participants said: "Liked the knowledge and passion of the teacher." "Very educational and eye opening... So amazing, a real science and art to the making of chocolate." "Thank you so much for the amazing evening."
