Single Muslim Marriage Event | The Nikkah Centre

Do you feel like the Muslim marriage apps are just not working? Maybe the time pressures to finish a conversation in speed dating sessions feels rushed? If you agree, then we have the event for you. The Nikkah Centre brings you a unique event, structured to allow for the best of both. Our event allows for both 1-2-1 conversations as well as a less pressured free-flow opportunity to meet potential spouses in a halal way.

Venue - Crowne Plaza London Docklands

Capacity - 60 places

Age Range - Women 24 - 34 years | Men 26 - 39 years

• Halal event – no alcohol, gender‑respectful seating, prayer space provided.
• Age‑grouped slots – women and men matched by age to maximise compatibility.
• Chaperones / Mahrams - bring along a mahran or chaperone for your own comfort.
• Experienced Muslim Marriage advisors – there to support and answer any questions.
• Structured sessions - best of both with 1-2-1 conversations and free-flow netwroking session

1. Registration (30 min before your slot) – show photo ID and receive your spot. (Refreshments available)
2. Refreshments - Light refreshments available on arrival.
3. Welcome – an introduction to the sessions and rules
4. 1-2-1 Session – 3-4 minute conversations with each participant at your table.
5. Networking Session - a structured session with a chance to finish conversations without the time pressure!
6. Final du‘a & close – Complete your matches and results collated after the event.

Participant: £30.00 (inclusive of eventbrite fees)

Chaperone / Mehram: £10.00 (inclusiveof eventbrite fees)(Only valid with a participant ticket holder)

Slots are allocated by the organisers and are not negotiable, swappable or changeable.

(Please read carefully – purchasing a ticket constitutes acceptance of these terms)

1.1 Non‑refundable – All ticket sales are final—no refunds, exchanges or name changes.

1.2 Non‑transferable – Tickets may not be resold or gifted. The name on the ticket must match the attendee’s ID.

1.3 Force Majeure – If the event is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, transport strikes, government restrictions), The Nikkah Centre (TNC) will offer a new date or a full refund. TNC is not liable for additional costs incurred by ticket‑holders.

2.1 Attendance limited to ages 21 years and over only. Ages specified in the event schedule and the ticket details. Attendees must be single (not married or engaged at time of event). This event does not allow individuals already married or seeking polygamous marriage.2.2 TNC reserves the right to refuse entry without refund if the eligibility criteria are not met.

3.1 Photo ID (valid UK, EU, US or Canadian passport/driver's licence) is mandatory. We reserve teh right to refuse entry without valid Photo ID.

3.2 Arrival – you must arrive 30 minutes before each slot to allow for registration. Arriving late to your slot start time will result in refusal of entry without a refund. No exceptions. Ensure you plan your journey in advance and account for any public transport delays.

4.1 Slots are allocated by TNC to balance age & gender ratios.

4.2 Slots cannot be requested, swapped or changed. Failure to attend your slot forfeits your ticket without refund.

5.1 Dress code – Smart‑casual and modest. No ripped jeans, shorts, sportswear or revealing clothing.

5.2 Behaviour – Respectful language and conduct are compulsory. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive or un‑Islamic behaviour will result in immediate removal without refund.

5.3 Photography of attendees is not permitted by participants.

5.4 Confidentiality – Personal details must only be exchanged via TNC. Unauthorised collection of attendee data is not permitted or encouraged by TNC.

6.1 Do not attend if you have symptoms of contagious illness (e.g. COVID‑19, flu) or have tested positive in the last 5 days.6.2 TNC may conduct temperature checks or require masks if public health guidance changes.6.3 TNC is not responsible for personal property; keep belongings with you at all times.

7.1 TNC facilitates introductions; we do not guarantee any match or future relationship.

7.2 Match data will be emailed within seven (7) days to the address provided by you at the time of booking / provided at the event. TNC is not liable for missed emails caused by spam filters or incorrect email entry.

8.1 TNC processes personal data under UK GDPR for event administration and matchmaking only.

8.2 Data (match‑cards, contact details) is stored securely and deleted within twelve (12) months, save where required for legal or accounting purposes.8.3 You have rights of access, rectification and erasure – email [email protected]

9.1 TNC's liability for loss or damage is limited to the ticket price paid, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9.2 TNC is not liable for:• Personal disagreements or outcomes arising from matches.• Transport delays, accommodation costs or incidental expenses.• Indirect or consequential losses.

You agree to indemnify and hold TNC harmless against any claims, damages or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your conduct at the event.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

TNC may amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Eventbrite listing and emailed to ticket‑holders if material changes occur.
