Single Molecule Network meeting
About this Event

To answer questions in biomedical research, it helps greatly to understand the individual components. Single-molecule methods provide a powerful toolkit to do just that by measuring the individual interactions, dynamics, or reactions of a wide range of biomolecules. The high spatial and temporal resolutions that are achieved bring insight into biological processes and phenomenon that would be obscured in larger, ensemble measurements.

The purpose of this network is to break the isolation of traditional disciplines by focusing on the single-molecule, a perspective used across disciplines.

The aims of the network are to:

  • Establish a network of cross-disciplinary researchers working with single-molecule methods
  • Provide repeating forums for cross-discipline knowledge transfer between the Crick, partner universities, and others
