No strangers to commanding a room, Arabella And The Heist have been carving out a name in the Australian punk scene with their heavy-hitting, high-energy sound and raw, unapologetic performances. They’ve stormed festival stages including St Kilda Fest 2025, Brunswick Music Fest 2025, Chopped 2024 and Mordifest 2024, played sold-out launches for singles ‘Electric’ and ‘1769’, and taken their raucous live show nationwide on July’s Ruckus Tour, earning a reputation for gigs that teeter on the edge of madness.
Produced by Michael Badger (King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Amyl and The Sniffers, Full Flower Moon Band), ‘Maraschino’ captures a new edge for the band, fusing their blistering punk ferocity with glimmering electronic sparks. The result is pure combustion, with a track that bites and glitters all at once.
From the very first breathy vocal, ‘Maraschino’ pulls you into its fever dream. Pulsing basslines set the stage before the beat crashes in, wild and relentless, baring its teeth as it drips with sweat and electricity. It is messy, ecstatic, and irresistible, the sound of losing yourself on a sticky dancefloor at 2am while the world outside burns colder.
This amped-up single embraces the sonic juxtaposition of anarchy and optimism, making a bold statement that fights and scratches to see the beauty and wonder in a world that feels increasingly cold, encouraging the listener to scream, shout, and dance through it.
