The Gettin’ Higher Choir welcomes you to our end-of-spring concert, bringing our wholehearted, uplifting songs in support of the excellent work of The Caia Connection. The GHC will bring a new song by Bruce Cockburn, rousing tunes by CCR and Melanie DeMore, a Verdi opera chorus, and songs from our friends in the community choir world.
Backyard Boulevard performs “feel good music for the whole family” — songs by Susan, Robert and others, which we’re sure you’ll love! With brilliant vocal harmonies, guitar, banjo, double bass, accordion and percussion, they are a vibrant, fun and heartwarming group, and the choir is thrilled to share the stage with them!
ABOUT THE GETTIN' HIGHER CHOIR
The Gettin’ Higher Choir is an enthusiastic and exuberant community choir that embodies the idea that singing is our birthright and that all voices can sing beautifully in harmony. Founded in 1996 by Siobhan Robinsong, the choir is now led by Cathy Baker and Dick Jackson, and continues to build community in song. Described as an “energetic phenomenon”, the Choir aims to uplift and inspire! The GHC winter concert is sure to set 2023 off to a powerful and optimistic start.
