About this Event
Haul the mainsail with a shout or sway along to lullabies from the ocean, there's something for everybody at this workshop of new and traditional sea-themed songs.
Whether you're a seasoned singing sailor or a reluctant landlubber, come along to add to the throng, what ever you think of your voice there is no wrong! It's brilliant to be part of a group sound, making something individual and special together.
All songs will be taught by ear with memorable lyrics and unaccompanied. No auditions or solos. Session starts with ice-breakers and warm-ups and we'll work towards learning several songs to share at the Songs & Stories of the Sea evening.
Emily Marshall leads Eynsham and Loud Mouth Community Choirs , Feisty Choir and Singing Assembly along with workplace choirs. With ten years of experience she loves to get people singing in harmony for fun and community. She guarantees you'll have a good time and you will achieve surprising results in a short time.
All attendees will also need to be available to take part in a Songs & Stories of the Sea evening, Fri. 25th October, Pegasus Theatre
