About this Event

Hi everyone,

I’m happy to see the group growing! Soon we’ll meet for our first monthly Jazz Vocal gathering, and I’d like to share a few details with you.

The idea is to create a relaxed space where we can sing together, explore the language of jazz, and experiment with the voice — also for those approaching this style for the first time or coming from pop, rock, soul, or R&B.

We’ll learn it together and use it as a starting point to explore interpretation, rhythm, and improvisation.

During the sessions we will work on:
— rhythm and scat exercises (vocal improvisation)
— circle songs with guided improvisation
— listening to and exploring jazz standards
— phrasing, expression, and personal interpretation
— vocal improvisation (scat and free)

All levels and all ages are welcome, especially beginners.

I’ve planned a small series of four meetings, so we can build a path together:
