Meet musicans and casual singers

Whether you're a local musician, singer, or simply a music enthusiast, you’re very welcome to join us. This event is open to all musical abilities—from complete beginners to experienced performers.

Feel free to bring your instrument and your voice. For singers, there will be a microphone, keyboard accompanist or opportunity to sing from a backing track (connect using your mobile phone).

This will be a chilled gathering, a relaxed space to connect, learn, and enjoy music together.

You can meet us at Hampstead Heath station at 2:30pm. We will then find somewhere in Hampstead Heath and share a location using Whatsapp.

What to expect:

• Beginner friendly group jamming
• Rotating group song leaders
• Optional individual performances and karaoke
• Music quiz and social time

There may be some photos and filming for social media and memories. Please make clear to the organiser if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded.

This is a free event with a voluntary donation.

Group jamming and rotating group song leaders

A rotating volunteer song leader will pick a song and:

• Confirm key and chord progression
• Any solo parts (e.g. 1st verse singing solo / guitar solo after chorus)
• Send songs in advance to be shared with others where possible

Please consider popular and simpler songs to maximise group partcipation.

Optional individual / group performances and karaoke

We will have time for some individual / group performances. Perform your own music or a cover song in the park with a supportive audience. Have instrumentalists to back you or sing from a backing track.

The social will focus on maximising partcipation so we would insist on a donation if you would like to perform more than one song.
