Join local singer Lizzie, Singer of the Lakes for an evening of entertainment to get you i. the Christmas spirit – combining your favourite musical theatre songs, well-known classical music and your beloved Christmas classics for a night to remember. Lizzie, Singer of the Lakes is a professionally trained vocalist originally from the Lake District and is best known for her career as a classical crossover guest act and lover of vintage music. She is proud to have been an official nominee for Best Female Solo Artist in the National Entertainment Awards 2024 and a semifinalist in the Classical Crossover Star Competition 2025 with Crossover Music Magazine.
Lizzie is also delighted to be joined by acclaimed singer Andrew Hamilton. Andrew is an accomplished singer with a strong background in both professional performance and community theatre. A long-standing member of Darlington Operatic Society, he has taken on a variety of roles that showcase his vocal and dramatic range. Andrew will share his favourite songs, showcasing his charm and vocal abilities.
Lizzie’s clear tone and warm personality has wowed audiences worldwide and she has enjoyed performing on some of the greatest cruise ships, hotels and theatres across the globe and even for the Royal Family. Lizzie performs regularly locally and enjoys being a member of the Darlington Operatic Society.
