Join the Virginia Chorale for Sing We Nowell - a beloved December tradition in Hampton Roads. Together, we'll celebrate four beloved composers with milestone birthdays in 2025: Arvo Pärt (90), John Rutter (80), Bob Chilcott (70), and Giovanni da Palestrina (500). The magic and mystery of the season will resound in songs and carols and by these esteemed composers and the Virginia Chorale. The Virginia Chorale is the Commonwealth's premier professional choral ensemble. Founded forty-two years ago, the ensemble has grown from a community-based early music chorus to today's dynamic group of professional singers, performing repertoire ranging from the Middle Ages to the music of today.
Patrons have described our concerts as "a choral experience you'll never forget," "an emotional, uplifting performance," and "marvelous, complex and richly diverse programming."
