UU Amherst will be offering a free 8-week program for families, designed to provide tools, community and compassion in the journey of raising children. Guided by the book, The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting by Brené Brown, we’ll offer a safe space for parents and caregivers to explore the topics the book offers and more.
Please note that this program is open to caregivers of all kinds including (but not limited to): grandparents, live-in caretakers, stepparents and more. Also, it is a consecutive program that will take place with the same cohort weekly.
Sessions will run September 23rd through November 11th every Tuesday from 5:00-7:30 pm. An (optional) inclusive meal will be provided from 5-6pm and the program will run from 6-7:30pm with secular childcare.
