Simply Dylan are returning to one of their favourite venues for one night only.Simply Dylan is a tribute to Bob Dylan, not a Bob Dylan tribute.
There are no frills, no gimmicks, no pretence. It’s John O’Connell’s personal exploration of the rich and diverse work of Dylan but it’s no ordinary interpretation, this is a remarkable and exceptional project which has been delighting Dylan fans young and old from when it was formed as a modest project in 2011 to recognise Dylan’s 70th birthday and since then the band have sold out the Cavern 6 times, toured the UK with SJM concerts and opened the Isle of White Festival in 2019.
John O’Connell has had his name indelibly written into the tapestry of Liverpool’s music scene. Collaborating with other highly reputable musicians to form his Dylan band their precise playing and high-energy renditions of Dylan’s work have gathered momentum and generated incredible interest.
John and the band have been WKACs regulars for a few years now and we’re pleased to welcome them back.
