It's a new dawn, it's a New Year, it's a new life but, thankfully, it's exactly the same Simon&ThePope, only with added Dave Perry guitar-ish-ness, strumming, plucking and twanging his way through the afternoon to accompany our favourite dynamic post punk funk tribal groove duo this coming Sunday for our second (Simon&ThePope) Frontier Sunday Session of 2025. And as it's a whopping decade since Simon&ThePope released their first single "Beats Working", a firm fave of Radio 6's Gideon Coe, Simon and John will bring along a few copies of said 7" for you lucky, lucky people to pur-chase.The fun starts around 4pm ish so don't be late, be great.
Expect the the usual intriguing combo of mesmeric drum beats, driving bass guitar and vocal grooves, joined this month by the aforementioned Dave Perry on Guitar.
The South Coast's greatest (Simon&thePope style) musical duo (and Dave) will be swinging into action at The Frontier around 4pm and leaving the crowd hungry for more at 6pm ish.
Free entry along with the usual amazing array of Welsh craft beers on ten draught beer taps as well as in bottles and cans (just clap your hands) - plus the finest wines known to humanity (allegedly) and bangin' cocktails to keep your weekend groovin'.
