Join us for  Simon Mogul’s album – Simon Says – Album Release Tour & Green Book Legacy Celebration Tour supported by South Arts as part of its Jazz Roads Tour Program

The concert will take place against the backdrop of Children of the Revolution | Hijos de la Revolución Images by Marice Cohn Band; Curation by Carl-Philipe Juste. Children of the

Revolution / Hijos de la Revolución, and its images echo the sentiment of José Martí, from 1889 on the cover of the first issue of his magazine La Edad de Oro (The Golden Age), dedicated to the children of Cuba and Latin America:

“It is for children that we work, because children are the ones who know how to love, because children are the hope of the world.”

This Green Book Jazz Roots Road Tour honors the past and holds space for the present, while promising that this music and these spaces will live well into the future. At a moment when resources are dwindling and the past is often forgotten, come and celebrate with us as we honor musicians of all generations in a space the celebrates justice and uplifts the struggle.
