Formed in 2023, Ex-Juncos is a duo of singer/guitarist Jill Rogers (Crying Time, Imperial Jazz Co.) and drummer Andrew K. Lau (Zapruder's Slungshot) that began as an experiment. With experience in vastly different scenes, Rogers brings the melody and melancholy of honky-tonk and jazz, and Lau the heavy rhythms and drive of noise and indie rock. As their collaboration began in earnest, the edges of their respective genres burned-off, leaving behind the blend of melody, noise, odd time signatures, and pointed words that make up the Ex-Juncos sound. For now.
Caleb Cobourn is an ambient/experimental solo guitarist, drenched in effects.
