Sime Nugent and The Capes at The Lomond Hotel.

Sime Nugent brings his band The Capes to the Lomond Sunday March 29 at 5pm.

Sime has toured nationally and internationally throughout Australia, Europe and America and released more than a dozen albums with a range of bands in his 30 year career. Sime’s work under his own name; with indie duo Sweet Jean, with Acapella trio Acapelicans and with 2 time ARIA nominated bluegrass band The Wilson Pickers has received both critical and popular acclaim. Sime travels with an extensive repertoire as a soloist, band leader and band member. Most recently he's worked with Linda Bull on Stardust - The songs of Willie Nelson and with Paul Kelly on his Christmas album, the song Sleep Australia Sleep and the legendary Gravy shows.

This version of The Capes band features members of Don Waker and the Suave F*cks, Tex Perkins Fat Rubber Band, The Drones and Mick Thomas's Roving Commision.
