Simbolos Vulgares is a print exhibition hosted by Red Delicious Press at The People's Building. This exhibition is an exploration into the nature of symbols as language. Simbolos Vulgares literally translated means vulgar symbols, in connection to how Javier Flores uses vulgarity, weapons, the estoteric, cultural and nature images as a lexicon to relay messages of hope, triumph and prosperity. This exhibition will run from April 1st to April 17th. There will be an artist talk on Sunday, April 10th, from 2pm-3:30pm. Thank you for your support.
