(The PREREQUISITES for this class is Metal Fundamentals Level 1- Jewelers Saw, SIlversmithing Level 1 - Butane Torch , Level 2 - Soldering )
Further your basic metal ring making skills in this Intermediate ring class. In this class you’ll progress from wire rings to wider bands cut from sheet metal adding decorative wire, metal scraps and embellishments. These substantial rings are super fun to make and easy to wear. You’ll lean several ring forms including wrap around and adjustable bands incorporating a variety of texturing techniques and a basic patina to add drama. Feel free to bring any scraps or silver embellishment you’d like to work with from home.
There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
