Silversmithing Level 4 - Flush Setting Faceted Stones

(The PREREQUISITES for this class is Silversmithing Level 1 - Butane Torch, Silversmithing Level 2 -Jewelry Soldering, Silversmithing Level 3 - Bezel Setting Cabochons, & Prior Flexshaft expierience )

Add elegance to your setting with faceted stones. Students will learn flush setting of faceted stones that are 3mm or less and create a seamless look without prongs or bezels. Students are encouraged to bring extra materials to add embellishments to their one of a kind designs.

You will learn :

Drilling to create seat for faceted stone
Customize their own beading tool
Create wax tool to pick up small stones
Create beading around stone setting
Melt scrap metals and roll flat with rolling mill

There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash, Venmo or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.

Our classroom is located upstairs and are limited to 6 students for this class.
