Silversmithing 101 in Billings

This class is in-person and instructed by Artist and Silversmith Meagan Anderson.
The address will be shared via email following sign-up. The location is near Moss Mansion in downtown Billings.
*This class is limited to six participants. No auditors or guests will be allowed in the workspace during class time.*
The cost of this Beginner Level Silversmithing Class includes a silversmithing toolkit rental, all silver needed to complete the ring, and a stone to set.
You will learn hands-on during this class as you practice soldering techniques, build a bezel to fit your stone, attach it to a ring (or two) you made yourself, and set a stone in it. You will first make two sterling silver bands, and choose between the two styles shown in this listing: A setting on a single band with a stacker, or a double band style. Afterwards you get to take home a sterling silver ring you’ve made entirely yourself! All materials needed to complete the class are provided, and you can bring a stone of your own to set, choose from stones included in the price, or purchase a high-grade stone from SPCS inventory.
*Any stone you bring must be a cabochon style or have a flat surface to balance on; no faceted stones for this class please! Your stone must measure no more than 3/4 inch in diameter (or at the widest point), and be no more than 3/8 inch in height at the thickest point.
