This year as we head into the holidays we will be trying something a bit different. As many of you know, once we get into the final quarter of the year we typically do not have a league season. This is due to the fact that many people get busy around the holidays and feel that they can’t commit to an every week league during that busy time of family, friends and travel. With that in mind, this year we are introducing the Level One Silverball Super League Holiday Tournament Series!
This series of IFPA sanctioned tournaments will span 10 weeks starting on Monday Oct 21st. Each tournament will be self contained as an individual tournament. However, at the end of the 10 tournaments we will add together your 5 best finishes to crown tournament series winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place). This way you can miss up to half of the tournaments and still be in the running for the grand prize.
Tournaments will each cost $10 per player, with $5 going to the individual tournament winners and the other $5 going toward the tournament series winners at the end of the year. We will use league overage to pay the IFPA fees. The Tournament Series winners will spilt half of the proceeds for all 10 tournaments as well as some cool trophies. We will keep a running tally of everyone’s points weekly.

Tournament #6 : Monday November 25th

Tournament #9 : Monday December 16th
Tournament #10 : Monday December 23rd
Series Tiebreaker Session for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place (if necessary): Monday December 30th.
Tournament Format: Target Matchplay
One game per round
7/5/3/1 Scoring in 4 Player Groups
7/4/1 Scoring in 3 Player Groups
Once 1 player reaches the target of 35 points the tournament is over (barring tiebreakers for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place). There will not be a finals.
Your score at the end of the tournament will be what is used to tally your total (best 5) for the series.
Prize Pool: Cash prizes will be distributed to the Top 3 finalists for each individual tournament ($5 per player) as well as the tournament series at the end of the year ($5 per player x 10).
Payouts:
1st Place: Approx. 60% of prize pool
2nd Place: Approx. 30% of prize pool
3rd Place: Approx. 10% of prize pool
