Who
After nearly a five year hiatus from bringing the community together at one of our show stopping art pirates. We are back to celebrate our 10 year birthday at H&G Creations. It's about time we dusted off our disco balls and rolled out the red carpet for you, our beloved friends, family and creative community.
What
Welcome to SILVER TONGUE, a new concept event brought to you by your friend at H&G Creations. We’re going back to our roots, our inspiration for creating events for the community has always been to bring people joyful experiences, and to bring the arts to strange and unusual places.
To have a"silver tongue" means that you are highly skilled in the art of communication. This person can speak in a way that is eloquent and charming. So often we are the spectators in our lives, at silver tongue we want to open you up to more. This event isn't just about passive observation; it's about fostering a space where our community can come together, engage in meaningful dialogue, and forge deeper connections. Through eloquent conversations, art, music, immersive experiences, spectacle, surprise and fancy dress. We aim to create an atmosphere where free expression is truly celebrated.
Where
We love to surprise you by bringing art and music to strange and beautiful locations. We love to show off some of the most spectacular and historically rich locations. And for silver tongue we have the privilege of hosting in the glorious Richmond Barracks, steeped in history and recently taken over to re-open its doors as community space that holds space to a number of cultural programs. We will be able to offer a number of rooms and spaces for you to enjoy over the course of the evening.
Why
We’ve been feeling the call to create space for our community to come together, meet new people, reconnect, play and get creative. Every time we bring people together we hear stories of people falling in love, creating art together, making new friends, and forging gorgeous memories. We wanted to hold a safe and beautiful creative space for you to get together once more.
When
Silver Tongue Party is coming to Richmond Barracks on October 19th, from 5pm - 12am this venue is very accessible by luas, public transport, taxi and is walking distance from town.
