Silver Screening: A Local's Only Film Event!

A spotlight for local filmmakers & cinematographers // A moment to celebrate the talent of the film industry right here in York and our surrounding areas.

The Grotto is hosting a pop up theater featuring a selection of local films for the public to enjoy November First Friday 11/7 from 7-9pm!
Support your local film maker and connect with like minded friends-- grab your $10 ticket at the Grotto website (for a fee-less ticket)

What to expect:

- A Short films theater: featuring selected submissions introduced by the makers (7:30-9:00) Content warning PG13

- "The Museum Loop" featuring shorter content to view at your own pace (OPEN ALL NIGHT)

- A Film Negatives inspired art installation (OPEN ALL NIGHT)

- FOOD TRUCKS !

Onsite from 7-8:30pm

This event is created intentionally not only as an art experience, but as a connection point for local film makers and a resource hub for next steps!

In addition to the general public experience above, we invite creators in this genre to explore opportunities for growth with representatives from local film commissions, organizations, & boots on the ground collaborations... aka your next big step??? (On site from 7-9pm)
