Silver Sapphics
About this Event
We invite you to join our women's group, Silver Sapphics!
This group started off at The Pryde but due to lack of attendance we wanted to see if moving this group would bring more people in. So we are starting the group back up next week at Curtis Hall Community Center in Jamaica Plain! We really want this group to succeed so we hope to see you and your friends there!
You can submit topics you'd like to discuss in group here.
Silver Sapphics is a casual participant led drop-in group created to offer a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for older Lesbian, Bi, Queer women. This includes Trans and Non-Binary women who are attracted to women. Sapphic is a broad, umbrella term that typically describes women, nonbinary people, and feminine-aligned individuals who experience attraction to other women or femmes. The word is inspired by the ancient Greek poet Sappho, who wrote emotional and romantic poetry about women from the island of Lesbos.
This group is held in the community room.
