Enjoy a wonderful day of jewellery making and walk out at the end of the day wearing your own unique, handmade, silver opal rings!
This workshop guides you through several steps to making your own set of three silver synthetic opal stacking rings. Starting with sterling silver wire, you’ll learn how to make a ring and prepare it for polishing. The next step is to solder a silver setting to the ring and then you’ll learn how to set a synthetic opal into the ring. You will make three rings in total so there’s plenty of opportunity to practice the skills you’ve learnt and you’ll be able to leave the workshop wearing your beautiful handcrafted opal stacking rings.
The workshop has been designed to be suitable for beginners as well as for those who have previous experience of jewellery making. Health and safety briefing notes will be supplied to all participants ahead of the workshop.
Skill Level: Suitable for beginners.
