SILVER IN THE RAINBOW
HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY
6 - 10 PM @ RUSSIAN HALL
704 19th Ave, E Seattle
For a lot of us, Halloween was the one night of the year we could walk out the door as our whole selves and have the street cheer for it. We are keeping that going with a dance floor, a costume contest, and a room full of people who understand exactly what the night means.
Our first dance back in May drew over 80 people, so this one is shaping up to be a party! Here is what we have planned:
Music from DJ Mixx America and DJ Dunye, spinning the songs that have been getting this community onto dance floors for years.
Soul Line Dancing, with plenty of room for beginners. If you have never done it, come anyway. An instructor will teach us!
A costume contest with real prizes:
$150 for best couple,
$100 for best solo, and
two $50 honorable mentions.
Catered food, beer, and wine will be served.
And if dancing is not your thing, come sit with us. There will be seating, good company, and the best people-watching in Seattle.
Early Bird Tickets
