In preparation for their gig at Academy 3 on May 2nd 2026, Silver Chamber welcome you to an informal and relaxed showcase in a unique space.

Silver Chamber is the vessel through which progressive metal intersects with classical music.

Affectionately dubbed the “Mancunian Hans Zimmer” (The Official Moshpit), Silver Chamber presents a hybrid band and chamber orchestra. Their sound is defined by sophisticated, technical guitar lines that are elevated by the presence of cinematic strings, piano, and harp, delivering a sound that balances visceral heaviness with delicate beauty.

The orchestra, beyond a mere backing ensemble, perform arrangements crafted with the rigour and precision of authentic classical music. Combined with technical metal akin to Trivium, Spiritbox, and Architects, this makes for a uniquely inspired sound that has to be experienced live to be fully comprehended.

Marzana Collective are an innovative 4-piece cello group that aims to break the boundaries between classical and metal music. With their reimagined takes on your favourite metal classics, they explore all areas of the cello and its versatile nature.
