Silvan Samhain Sing
Advertisement
Come to the Phoenix Park at dusk on Halloween, to celebrate Samhain in song amongst the trees.
We will connect in community and in nature to mark the Celtic New Year, and the transition from the light to the dark. Though facing into the winter can be hard, it is also an opportunity to surrender and restore. On this Samhain evening, we will remember our loved ones no longer with us. We will also remember the wisdom of our ancestors at this uncertain, transitional time for us humans.
Surrounded by autumnal colour, singing in a grove of venerable trees, this will be an enchanting experience. Our voices and harmonies will connect us to past, anchor us to the present and inspire us for the future. Sound will connect us to each other and to nature and to the mysteries beyond the material world. When we sing together in nature, times slows down and we enter a deeper state of consciousness and connection, so vital as an antidote to the busy, chaotic times we live in.
This event will take place outdoors under a grove of trees near the Lower Glen Road carpark in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. Full details will be emailed on booking. Booking in advance is essential and places limited so please do book in advance to secure your place.
Please dress warmly for the weather and bring a small stool or something to sit on if needed.
Prices from €18,
