A Buenos Aires-i dirigens nemzetközi karrierje a Teatro Colón karmesterversenyének megnyerése után ívelt fel, olyan kiválóságok mellett dolgozhatott, mint Sir Simon Rattle, Pierre Boulez, Eötvös Péter, Riccardo Chailly, Riccardo Muti vagy Bernard Haitink. Jelentős fesztiválok és koncerttermek vendége, fellépett már a Luzerni Fesztivál, a Schleswig-Holsteini Zenei Fesztivál, a Young Euro Classic, a Donaueschingeni Zenei Napok, az Elbphilharmonie, a bécsi és berlini Konzerthaus, a moszkvai Csajkovszkij-terem, a Teatro Colón és a Bastille Opera közönsége előtt. Néhány nappal budapesti fellépése előtt Kölnben, a Duisburgi Filharmonikus Zenekar élén világpremierként vezényli a portugál Igor C. Silva új, jazzkvartettre, elektronikára és szimfonikus zenekarra komponált, Sōma című darabját, mely az Európai Koncerttermek Szervezetének (ECHO) megbízásából készült.

The attraction of South American rhythms – this could be the motto of this concert of the Danubia Orchestra and Argentinian conductor Mariano Chiacchiarini. The international career of the Buenos Aires-born conductor took off after winning the 1st Prize of the Teatro Colón Conducting Competition, and he could work with such luminaries as Sir Simon Rattle, Pierre Boulez, Péter Eötvös, Riccardo Chailly, Riccardo Muti and Bernard Haitink. He has performed at major festivals and concert halls, including the Lucerne Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Young Euro Classic, the Donaueschinger Musiktage, the Elbphilharmonie, the Konzerthaus in Vienna and Berlin, the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, the Teatro Colón and the Opéra Bastille. A few days before his appearance in Budapest, he will conduct the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra in Cologne for the world premiere of Sōma, a new work for jazz quartet, electronics and symphony orchestra by Portuguese composer Igor C. Silva, commissioned by the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO).
