Silk Willoughby Art Group are moving!New members welcome - First session FREE
We will now meet every Monday 10am to 1pm at The Horseshoes, Silk Willoughby.
If you would like to join us then please simply come along.
We are a long-established group and our members draw and paint abstracts, portraits and landscapes in several media including pencil, coloured pencils, pastels, watercolour and acrylic paints.
All abilities are welcome to join us and we offer encouragement, advice and support as you create your own artworks.
If you are a total newbie then we can offer advice on which materials you need and where to buy them. If you have materials already, then bring them along; we’ll supply the tea and coffee ?
In the past we have held 6 exhibitions and sales of paintings and plan to hold more in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to show and sell your own works.
If you needed a reason to come along, bear in mind that art is good for you; it can boost your self-esteem through a sense of accomplishment, it relieves stress and by joining a group you get an opportunity to connect and socialize with others.
