Silk Road: A Menu through Time & Space @ Honey's

Annie Faye Cheng & Sabrina Beydoun present SILK ROAD, a menu through time and space at Honey's.

The menu is inspired by entangled history. As merchants traversed from Chang'an to Damascus, Almaty to Tyre, and Constantinople to Aleppo, cuisines were transformed by the introduction of new ingredients, philosophies, and cultures along the legendary Silk Road. Together, we pay tribute to the arterial network of trade routes that produced early examples of culinary cosmopolitanism.

The menu pre-sale includes every course, and serves as your reservation and payment for the event. Walk-in and a la carte ordering will be available during the event.

$65 for pre-sale, full menu, serves 1-2 diners. 2 full menus recommended for 3-4 diners.

1. Mezze set: chestnut & carrot muhammara, seaweed hindbeh, smashed cucumber & chili laban, pickled daikon + pita vegetarian, can be made vegan
2. Treasure rice: saffron -turmeric sticky rice, kabocha, pomegranate, almond, black goji, jujube vegan
3. Falafel: spring peas, mushrooms, herbs, garlic scape tahini (4pc)vegan
4. Cabbage rolls: smoked tofu, leeks, tomato fenugreek, vermicelli. charred in beef tallow can be made vegan/vegetarian
5. Skewer: 9 spice pastured lamb shoulder, sichuan peppercorn, cherry marinade, silk road chili oil (2 pc)
6. Sweet: tea-spiced panna cotta, rose jelly, mulberry molasses
