We have awesome news that we’ve been eager to share! And now we can! We will indeed be having a physical event this August! It’s been long enough since we have all come together for an in-person event, and as California continues to open up, we have been given the go-ahead.This year the show will be TWO days instead of three: Saturday, August 28th, and Sunday, August 29th at the San Jose Convention Center. For safety. overall attendance numbers are more limited than in past years, and our max capacity per day will be guided by State and local health department guidelines.
Safety is, of course, one of our biggest concerns this year for everyone who attends. We will be strictly following all guidelines and mandates to ensure everyone is comfortable and able to safely enjoy getting back out into the world (and exulting over our shared obsessions!). Our health policy will be clearly articulated on our website once we have guidance from both California and the city of San Jose.
Ticket sales and guest announcements have begun! Along with Adam Savage, we’ll have as many of the elements of the show you’ve come to know and love, with a specific emphasis on even more maker and creator experiences.
