Bernard Moon, SparkLabs Global, Silicon Valley

Bernard Moon is a Co-founder & Partner at SparkLabs Group, a network of accelerators and venture capital funds that has invested in more than 550 companies across 6 continents since 2013. SparkLabs primarily invests in early-stage startups, including OpenAI, Vectara, Mighty Buildings, Andela, Anthropic, Nex Team, Kraken and Genies. Previously, Bernard was a Managing Director at the Lunsford Group, a private investment firm with holdings in real estate, healthcare and other industries. Bernard serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross Silicon Valley and is an Ambassador for AsiaBerlin, an initiative of the Berlin Government to connect startup ecosystems across Asia to Berlin.

Ryoko is Director, Venture Studio and Marketing at NEC X, a Silicon Valley-based venture studio backed by NEC Corporation. She leads the operation of Venture Studio programs and ensuring comprehensive support for startups. She helps to foster ecosystem growth and enhance startup visibility through strategic communications and partnerships. Her experience includes spearheading new business development in cybersecurity with global startup partnerships, contributing to NEC Group's innovations. With a diverse background from pre-sales to customer success at NEC Solution Innovators, she excels in managing product sales. She also plays a pivotal role in JWIBA, a community connecting women to the San Francisco Bay Area and Japanese society, and contributes to Portfolia, an investment fund focusing on women, and holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
