Silent Runners
Mixing dark synths with post-punk influences, Silent Runners (Amsterdam, NL) made a name for
themselves on stage with energetic shows that are both compelling and strangely hypnotizing.
Minimalist guitars, deep bass riffs and steady drum beats, going from an almost krautrock-like drive
to all out bombastic. All topped with classic synths and a powerful voice, soaked in reverb.
In 2017 Silent Runners released their critically acclaimed debut album The Directory, which reached underground audiences all around the globe. The release was followed by a series of very well received shows on festivals such as Wave Gotik treffen, Grey Days and Wavefest. Shows that cemented the band’s energetic live reputation in the underground post punk scene.
After their 2019 re-release of The Directory (Remixes) on Cold Transmission Music, the band
announced the production of a new yet to be named album, set to release on the Germany based
label in spring 2022. The first official single Nothing Stays The Same will see daylight on February 25, together with a brand new music video. The new track showcases a shift in direction for Silent
Runners, foreshadowing more drum driven songs and a heavier emphasis on post-punk influences,
without compromising the iconic mix of synths, drums and guitars the band is known for.

Seit 1993 machen Florian Uthoff und Peter Siegert Musik, die unter die Haut geht. Mit einer Mischung aus düsteren Klängen und treibenden Gitarren haben sie für sich den Noir-Synth-Rock neu definiert.

Vadot
Seit 2009 arbeiten VADOT entschlossen an ihrer Idee, elektronische Musik mit analogen Instrumenten wie Schlagzeug, Gitarre, Bass und Gesang zu verbinden.
Nach ihrem Debüt „In Gottes Namen“, veröffentlicht das Trio 2012 sein zweites Album »Teufels Beitrag« und macht damit einen Ausflug zum Label „Danse Macabre“ (u.a. Das Ich). Es folgen deutschlandweite Konzerte, Gastspiele in Rumänien, sowie diverse Festivalauftritte (u.a. auf dem WGT 2012 bis 2019). Im Jahr 2016 erscheint „Von Luft und Likes“ das dritte VADOT-Album bei „popsirup“. Das zitty-Magazin kürt die CD in der Erscheinungswoche zum ‘Tonträger der Woche’. Mit ihrem Album „Resonanz“ erbeutet die Band 2018 überschwänglich lobende Kritiken und schafft es bis auf Platz 3 der DAC (Deutschen Alternativ Charts).
Für Bands wie Grossstadtgeflüster, Schwefelgelb oder Sigue Sigue Sputnik waren VADOT unter anderem als Support unterwegs. Mit ihrer leidenschaftlichen Bühnenpräsenz erspielen sich die Berliner in den vergangen zehn Jahren ein treues Publikum.
