Sappho’s Friends invite you in January to a silent reading evening for queer women, non-binary and trans people.
This time we’ll meet to cozy up with a cup of tea and take time to read in company of others.
You have never been to a silent reading event before? Here is what to expect:
You bring your own book or borrow one from the bookshelf at SKOKS.
19:00 - 19:15 arrival, mingling, making yourself a cup of tea and finding your spot for the evening.
19:15 - 19:45 read silently for 30 minutes
19:45 - 20:00 break for stretching, mingling and refilling our cups
20:00 - 20:30 read silently for another 30 minutes
20:30 - 21:00 those who like can read out loud a passage they would like to share from their current read and we discuss our reads in the group
21:00 clean up the space & wrap up the evening <3
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
