Silent Reading Hour

If your idea of a night out is reading quietly with a glass of wine in hand, get your ticket for Silent Reading Hour! Join The Bookshelf and other book lovers at Farmer’s Daughter on Wednesday, September 17th, at 6 p.m. for an evening of communal reading.

Tickets are $5. The Bookshelf will have popular books and some bookish gifts available for purchase and you will receive a $5 off coupon should you choose to buy anything that evening. You’ll get Farmer’s Daughter happy hour prices all evening long: $6 beer, $7.50 wines by the glass, and 10% off cheese plates.

Silent Reading Hour is as simple as it sounds: you’ll have the option to put your phone down, grab a glass of wine or mocktail, mingle with fellow readers, and then read your book in peace and quiet.
