Inclusive Education Nepal works to transform Nepal's education ecosystem so that every child can learn, belong and thrive. We understand inclusive education not as a program or placement, but as coordinated transformation of mindsets, practices, and systems.
To mark the International Day of Education on 24 January, we are organizing an event called SIlent March for Inclusive Education, which will be mainly facilitated and led by social work students of Nepal. The event will be held from Padma Kanya Campus in Bagbazar to Maitighar Mandala. There will also be a display of inclusive education materials.
Nature of event
- Type: Public awareness and solidarity march
- Approach: Symbolic, peaceful, and non-political
- Duration: Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours
- Leadership: Social work students, with support from Inclusive Education Nepal
Light refreshments will be provided, and certificates of participation will be issued to those joining the March.
