Benedictines for Peace will hold a Silent Peace Walk on Monday, October 24, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm beginning at Dobbins Landing.The special focus of this Silent Peace Walk will be on the waterfront, the need to treasure, protect and guarantee public access to it.
The intention supports local racial justice and environmental groups efforts calling for an environmental review of the planned renovation of the Bayfront Parkway.
Silent Peace Walks are a simple public action and a powerful nonviolent tool to bring peace, beginning in one’s own heart, to our families, our communities, our nation, our world, and to all of creation.
All are welcome to join this simple, public nonviolent action for peace.
