~ Peace within ourselves ~ Peace within the world ~Let's walk together with peace in every step, in gratitude for the beauty of the Chippewa River and the vibrant energy of our wonderful community. We walk mindfully, with the intention of holding peace within ourselves, and offering this peaceful presence to the world. BE the peace you wish to see in the world!
We gather by the fountain near the roundabout. After very brief opening instructions, we walk together in mindful silence for about 20 minutes and close with a fervent wish for peace for the world.
Please share this with your friends and families and ask them to join you. Children of all ages are welcome. We are looking forward to having you join your peaceful presence with ours!
PARKING: There are parking lots on the NW and NE sides of the roundabout.
**** Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather (it can get a bit windy and colder by the river at times).
**** If we have to cancel the walk due to inclement weather conditions, I will post the cancellation by 4:00 PM that day.
