Silent Listening Party 11AM - 7PM

Welcome to our Silent Listening Parties on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND! Join us at 1140 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT, USA at BOOK TRADER CAFÉ for hours of music, fun, and good vibes. Get ready to groove to your favorite tunes and discover new beats with fellow music lovers. Whether you're into rock, pop, hip-hop, or musical theater, there's something for everyone at our event. Come ready to dance, sing along, and connect with like-minded individuals. Don't miss out on this epic event of music and memories. Attending this event will be fun and exciting! The time will simply fly by, so it’s important to be prepared. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your experience. Reservations are made for 2 hour timeslots: 11am -1pm, 1pm - 3pm, 3pm - 5pm, 5pm - 7pm. If you decide to stay with us longer, let us know so we can arrange headphone usage for you!

•Arrive 15 mins early: It's a good idea to arrive early in case there’s a waiting line. Bring a valid state ID, children under 12 yrs of age must be accompanied by an adult. You can explore the bookstore or grab an item from our clothing racks. Your ticket Includes entry, refreshments, a playlist, and a pair of wireless over the head headphones for use ONLY during the party. HEADPHONES MUST BE RETURNED.

•Dress footwear comfortable: You could be on your feet, moving about or sitting, so wear shoes that allow you to move about without any restrictions.

•Know the artist: Familiarize yourself with music eras, lyrical content, music arrangement, what was current then and now. This way, you’ll be able to fully appreciate the experience.

•Stay hydrated: Dancing and singing can be energy-consuming, so make sure to stay hydrated throughout the party. Included with your ticket are refreshments. The Book Trader Café full menu will be available for additional food or drink purchases. See you there!
