Summer is here and we are back in July with our uplifting SILENT DISCO YOGA class on the sand at the iconic Fistral Beach in Newquay! And even better, we are also putting on our super relaxing beach SILENT DISCO MEDITATION straight afterwards. The weather is finally heating up so what better reason to get out and move on the mat whilst listening to the sound of some great upbeat beach vibe tunes!
YOGA
The all levels vinyasa flow class with be accentuated by wearing headphones and immersing yourself into a musical journey as you practice – don’t worry, the headphones stay on! The class is taught by Jen from Oceanflow Yoga, using a microphone that you will also hear via the headphones and postures are sequenced to the varying rhythms of the music. A very immersive yoga experience! Beginners are welcome as there will be options offered for all.
MEDITATION
During this very relaxing Yoga Nidra practice, you will be guided on a journey to access the subconscious mind facilitating deep rest. All you need to do is lie down and listen to the voice coming through the headphones. We will also be playing soft binaural beat music to help align the brainwaves into the rhythm of a meditative mind. There will be plenty of room to spread out - look out for us in the middle of the beach near the low tide line.
The classes will be held at the beautiful Fistral Beach in Newquay - use TR7 1HY to find us. We will be towards the North/centre of the beach and look out for us by the big flags & colourful bunting. Private parking is available on site but often gets busy so often best to park away in the local council carparks and walk down to the beach. Please leave yourself plenty of time!
We will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast leading up to the event. In case of bad weather, we will postpone the session & reschedule to the nearest date possible - you will be contacted to either transfer your ticket or be refunded.
