Silent Day of Prayer on the Faithful Departed:
Created for Eternal Life: "Set Your Hearts on Things Above"
Led by Sr. Mary Eucharista, SMMC
Wednesday, November 18, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (8:30 a.m. check-in)
Jesus confirmed that human life continues eternally after death, and that through Him we are called to resurrection and ever-lasting communion with God in imitation of what Jesus demonstrated for us on Easter. But what does this look like? With a peek at verifiable near-death experiences and stories of deathbed conversations with those who have passed, this day of prayer will bring opportunities for deep reflection about how our prayers can assist our loved ones who await the Resurrection of the Body and Life Everlasting.
Included will be Holy Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, two
conferences, lunch, recitation of the Rosary and Adoration before the exposed Blessed Sacrament.
Sr. Mary Eucharista, SMMC, is the Spiritual Life and Program
Administrator at Immaculate Heart Retreat Center since 2008.
She also gives spiritual direction, retreats, Eucharistic Congress
keynotes, Missions, Days of Prayer and talks at the center
and around the U.S. Sister has a BA in English/Literature and
Education from Whitworth University, MA in Philosophy from
Gonzaga University, and spiritual direction certification from
St. Vincent’s Seminary College. She is vocations director and a
consultor in the SMMC.
