Join Silent Book Club ~ Ottawa Chapter at Absinthe Cafe on the third Thursday of each month. No assigned reading.
Silent Book Club®, a global community of readers and introverts, has grown to more than 500 chapters around the world since 2012.
"Wouldn't it be great to have a book club where you could just enjoy books, friends, and wine—without any homework?" At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading.
How does it work?
Readers gather, and after taking a bit of time to say hello and order fare and libations, they get down to reading for about an hour. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to wrap up and head home or stick around for more camaraderie.
