Join us for our first March Silent Book Club meet up at Two James Spirits on Sunday, March 8th, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.Two James was Detroit’s first licensed distillery since Prohibition and now has a beautiful location right here in Grand Rapids. We’re excited to gather in the space for an afternoon of quiet reading and connection.
Bring whatever book you’re currently working on and settle in with fellow readers. Whether you feel like chatting about what you’re reading or simply enjoying the shared energy of other book lovers, this space is for you.
What is Silent Book Club? Founded in 2012, SBC is now an international movement with over 2,000 chapters worldwide. Our monthly gatherings around the greater Grand Rapids area give you a chance to get out of the house with a book in hand and be in community without pressure.
We will pause around 2:30 for an optional discussion about what we’re reading. In the spirit of keeping this a true introvert’s happy hour, participation is always optional.
