About this Event
SILENT BOOK CLUB is a global movement of enthusiastic readers with a drive to come together in a bookish way without the social pressures of a book club. Once a month we gather at Dorothy and read together without any assignment or requirements!
We also invite a bookish pop up to join us for the evening and on September 13th we will be joined by Sheep Cult Comics!
Sheep Cult Comics is an online and physical indie comic and bookstore in Wicker Park Chicago. Located at 1632 N Milwaukee Ave, they sell primarily works by local Chicagoans on consignment, or pieces by small presses. They'll be bringing comics and merch to sell!
RSVPs are free and serve as calendar reminders for our guests. Entry is always free for Silent Book Club.
Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical or mobile ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799
