Silent Book Club: Chicago Loop & South Side

this is the only existing Silent Book Club on the South Side of Chicago! after someone at our shop's Community Craft Circle mentioned that the nearest SBC was on the North Side of the city, shop co-owner Elena took it into her own hands to change that. our shop, So Happy You're Here, is a place founded on sustainability and the importance of community building around shared values.

the storefront is transformed into a cozy community center with nooks set up throughout for optimum reading comfort. the event is BYO-Tea, bring your own tea and enjoy a warm cup while you read whatever is in your hands. 7:30 - 8:30 is quiet reading time and 8:30 - 9 is quiet shopping, socializing, or continued reading.
