Join us at Darlin' Bakery and Cafe for Silent Book Club!What is Silent Book Club? It's a book club with no assigned reading. All readers are welcome - physical books, ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... It's BYOBook. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they're reading, and settle in for an hour or so of sustained silent reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize-or not! This is an opportunity to put our phones down and be social. Real, live, breathing-the-same-air social, not hearting-you-on-Instagram social.
Schedule of Events:
11:00 - 11:30: Arrive, order, socialize, or settle in
11:30 - 12:30: Hour of reading
12:30 - 1:00: Optional socializing or continued reading time
