About this Event
Sikhs and the Changing World: A Vision for Global Transformation
Join us at the University of Cambridge for this inaugural annual conference hosted by the Sikh Education Council, exploring how Sikh-inspired perspectives can shape meaningful global change, taking place on Saturday 25 April from 10am-4pm at Downing College.
This interdisciplinary conference invites thinkers, researchers, and practitioners from all backgrounds to engage with the theme of transformation through a Sikh-inspired lens. Research is not limited to Sikh-focused topics or presenters; rather, we encourage work that reflects values rooted in Sikh thought taking in political advocacy, spiritual advancement, collective well-being, amogst others, and then applies them to global challenges.
From climate change and technology to social justice, governance, and education, this conference aims to spark dialogue, share research, and inspire actionable ideas with global relevance.
Be part of a forward-looking conversation that bridges tradition and innovation to imagine a better future for all.
