SIJCC Sunset Music Series: Las Chorizeras

Our evening will begin with drinks and cheese followed by the musical performance.

4pm-4:30pm: drinks and mingling

4:30pm-5:45pm: music with a brief intermission

Your tickets include great music, a delicious cheese plate and dairy-free snacks, and beverages!

Las Chorizeras, is an all-Female ensemble that realizes all of Nancy Sanchez’s original songs in a fresh new Regional Alternative and Regional Mexican way. They incorporate traditional mariachi instruments, like the guitarron, the vihuela and the violin, into a mariachi fusion style.

Las Chorizeras began by performing in the Los Angeles County Fair in 2022, followed by a live in-studio feature on Spectrum News with celebrated host Giselle Fernandez during Hispanic Heritage Month. In 2023 Las Chorizeras performed in Green Bay Wisconsin’s Levitt Pavillion series, San Diego Museum of Making Music (NAMM Headquarters), Dolores Huerta Benefit for the Dolores Huerta Foundation, Decibel Studios Live Performance series, Levitt Pavillion Los Angeles, and a live performance on the Netflix Series The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Finale.

Currently Las Chorizeras are preparing to release their first debute EP self-titled “Las Chorizeras”.
