Siina Suutarinen (b.2001) is a vocalist, composer, and pianist from Helsinki who, despite her young age, has established her place in the Finnish jazz scene and is building an international career. Suutarinen is especially known for her soft sound, which has been compared to vocalists such as Diana Krall. Her debut album “Who You Are” was released in 2025 through Flame Jazz Records, and she is currently working on a second album with a new, more electric ensemble. Relationships, nature, and intriguing contradictions inspire Suutarinen’s songwriting, and the upcoming album explores themes of honesty, the relationship with nature, and a return to her own roots. Her music draws influence from jazz and Brazilian music, combining strong bass lines, melodies, and fresh ideas. In 2026, Suutarinen will perform with her own band and in other projects across Finland and Europe, and will collaborate with international colleagues.
